GENERAL SUMMARY:
Medical Specialists are San Cristobal Medical employees who aid patient's problems according to their chosen specialty. Specialist help those who need special attention due to their specific medical disease or illness. Specialties offered at San Cristobal include: Dentistry, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Psychiatry.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct thorough examinations on patients with chosen specialty related issues

• Reach an informed diagnosis and treatment plan based on medical knowledge

• Prescribe and administer treatment for patients

• Update records with Medical Receptionists on patients seen

• Vigorously uphold patient confidentially standards

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• In-depth knowledge on specialty chosen

• Comprehensive knowledge on specialty's diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation practices

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Excellent recording and documentation skills

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Strong problem solving abilities and perseverance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Prior medical experience on Sevastopol or other creditable source

• Required to have been working on Sevastopol for over 2 months

• Valid license to practice medicine from an Attending Physician on specialty chosen
